National Parks Tour

10 Days Safari to Tarangire N.P. Lake Manyara N.P. Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti N.P.

Day 1

Depart from Moshi and make a quick stop in Arusha for any last minute purchases before heading to Tarangire National Park, the third largest national park in Tanzania. Tarangire has an unusually large elephant population.

We will stop for lunch before continuing with our drive through Tarangire to see a variety of animals including giraffes, lions, zebra, leopards, and many others. Dinner and the evening will be spent at Lake Burunge Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 2

After breakfast is an hour ride to Lake Manyara National Park. We will take a drive through the park where baboons are usually the first thing you see.

Be careful, these intuitive creatures are mischievous and enjoy stealing lunches from tourists! We will overnight and dine at Tloma Mountain Lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 3 and 4

The Ngorongoro Crater is a spectacular mix of wildlife inside a crater. Here you can see the endangered black rhino as well as many other creatures all coexisting in this beautiful crater. The drive takes two days just to take in all the beautiful scenery. We will overnight at the Ngorongoro Farm House where dinner and breakfast will be served.

Day 5 through 9

The road to the Serengeti goes through the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti will be reached by day 5. The best time to reach the Serengeti is in February when you can see the birthing of over 8,000 wildebeest! Our days will be spent on safari drives through the Serengeti.

We will spend 4 nights at a lodge where breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served.

Day 10

After a final morning game drive, you have the option to take a short plane ride back to Moshi, or you can opt for the overland drive back.
